The work is a first person account of Lieutenant General Anton Denikin's (1872 – 1947) career in the Tsarist military and his experiences with the White Russian Army during the Russian civil war. This English-language translation of is writings, was published 28 years after his death in 1947. Included are a few maps, and 8 pages of b/w photographic reproductions. Dj with some rubbing, light chipping and light sunning along edges and to corners, with a few small closed tears to the covers. Binding with head and tail of the spine light bumped and rubbed.
