The 168 plates are engraved by James Posselwhite, Edward Scriven, James Thompson, Benjamin Holl, William Holl, Thomas Woolnoth, Charles Edward Wagstaff, Richard Woodman, John Taylor Wedgwood, Thomas Anthony Dean, Robert Hart, Henry Meyer, James Mollison, and William Thomas Fry.

Bindings partly rubbed along edges, with some minor to moderate abrasion to leather. Ex-library copy, with bookplate on inside of each front cover, pocket on inside of back covers, and stamp at lower margin of last page of each volume. Previous owner's name in ink at upper margin of each fly leaf. Usual foxing along edges of plates (not affecting images). Bindings in overall fair to good, interior in very good condition. g- to vg.
