Complete collection of "Plexus," a renown French magazine devoted to humor and eroticism published in Paris from 1966 to 1970.

The magazine was first published bimonthly (issues 1-12), then every six weeks (issues 13 to 17), and finally monthly from issue 18 to 37.

Censored in 1967 because of its "pornographic" material, the magazine contained many articles on sensuality, eroticism, sexuality, but also science-fiction, history and philosophy, as well as erotic photographs and reproductions of artworks by Félix Labisse, Picasso, Clovis Trouille, Paul Delvaux, Rodin, Moise Kisling, Leonor Fini, Arrabal, Enrico Brandani, Renoir, Bonnard, Dali, etc...

Previous owner's inscription at upper margin of back cover of issues 1 to 3, 5 to 13, 15, 16, 18 to 23, 25 and 27 (never affecting lettering). Page 151/152 of issue 6 cut out, but present. Book block of issue 9 split in two, but complete. Issue 13, with pages 83 to 118 disbound but present. The first 24 pages of issue 14 are disbound but present. Upper corner of issues 23 and 27 bumped, thus affecting pages throughout. Text in French. Wrappers in overall good- to very good, interior in good to very good condition. g- to vg. Item #43569
