Edited by the Polish Ski Association, the Tourism Support League, and the Polish National Railways, this beautifully produced brochure promotes the 1939 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Zakopane, a lovely resort town situated at the foothills of the majestic Tatra mountains, in southern Poland. The event took place from February 11th to the 19th.
The booklet is profusely illustrated with 15 blue-tone photogravures, and illustrations by Polish artist J. Skolimowski. Includes two maps and one plan.
