The book is a collection of 105 b/w plates (2 in color) of photographic reproductions and rendering of various aspects of the Spanish architecture and design styles. "This collection of one hundred and five plates divides itself into various groups, such as patios, doorways, windows, ironwork and other decorative motives. Examples have been selected from the fifteenth to the eighteenth centuries with particular emphasis laid on types that are especially applicable to modern work in this country. In order to give more information, the plates are often made up of motives taken from adjoining parts of one building, drawn in the proper scale and proportion." Plate 25 colored, as issued.
