Published to comemorate the 350th anniversary of the first King James Bible, this splendid facsimile edition, produced in 1961 by World Publishing, contains the full prefatory content: The Dedication to King James, the translator's To The Reader Preface, the Calendar, the Genealogies, the Holy Land Map, and of course the entire Old Testament, Inter-Testamental Books (as specifically mandated by King James), and New Testament ... exactly as it was published in 1611, without omission, addition, or alteration in any way.

This Bible was printed by offset lithography and bound in full leather by Amilcare Pizzi of Milan, in a replica of the type of binding found on some copies of this edition. The laid paper was specially made by the Ventura Mill at Cernobbio, Italy.
Ex library sticker at tail of spine and upper left corner of slipcase. Some soiling to slipcase, with a 3 1/4" closed tear at lower margin of back panel. Binding rubbed along front joint. Gold tooling slightly and partly faded. Previous owner's Ex-libris on inside of front cover. Slipcase in overall good, binding in good to good+, interior in very good condition. g+ to vg. Item #43399
