Contains welcome address by Mayor Böhmer, a report by district led Kossol about the activities of the last year in the district of Gelsenkirchen. This is followed by a detailed month by month account of activities in the district from July 1936 to June 1937, illustrated with b/w photographs supporting this report.
The program at the center of the pamphlet is followed by a contribution on the creative power of the German people from Adolf Manns, the editor in chief of the Schaumburg-Lippische Landzeitung, an anonymous contribution on the accomplishments of the district and Max Hiemisch's description of the beauty of the district Westalia-North. All contributions are augmented by offset reproductions of b/w photographs. The last five pages with advertisements, some of them illustrated, of local businesses, predominantly cfrom auto industry. Text in German, Gothic script. Wraps with very light wear along edges and rubbed. Last page of advertisements with slight dame at staple binding.
