The publication is a collection of 16 poems by modern dance pioneer Ruth St. Denis. The work was taken from a series of evening performances and gatherings her held at her own Ruth St. Denis Theatre Intime, Hollywood in June of 1952. Forward by Aubrey St. John. Publishers seahorse imprint on the final page. Wrappers sunned along the spine and the edges of the covers, with a light water stain on the front cover. Binding slighyl loose at the staples. Interior with some light smudges and a small closed tear along the right edge of the front free endpaper. Wrappers in good, interior in very good condition overall. g to vg. Item #43090
