The book appears to have never been read as the pages are unopened. The work examines and gives deference to the Masonic principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity, and praises the religious foundation from which they arise. The work clearly advocates the theological stance of Regular Freemasonry in opposition to Continental Freemasonry. Binding with some age-toning, smudging and staining to the boards. Spine lightly cracked along the front hinge, with some chipping, sunning, rubbing and a 1.5" piece missing at the head. Light rubbing along the top and bottom edges of the boards and corners.
