One of the classic works of Mark Twain and considered one of the early science fiction novels. The story follows the adventures of an engineer who is sent back in time to King Arthur's Court. Twain had the idea for this novel in 1884 and worked on the book between 1885–1889. Abundantly illustrated with beautiful drawings throughout. Advertisements of Standard Publications issued by Webster. Binding with light wear along edges and joints of spine, very light fraying at head and spine and light smudge on front cover. Ex Libris glued to inside front cover with gutters at front and back reinforced with binder's tape. Light age toning of block along edges.
