Second edition of Perceval Landon's monumental work on Nepal originally published in 1928, a year after the author's death.
Landon was one of the most experienced foreign correspondents of his day, writing for "The Times," the "Daily Mail," and the "Daily Telegraph." He reported from all over the world, mainly from Asia, including Japan, China, Siberia, India, Nepal, etc.. His "Nepal" is a vivid account of a people and a land which fascinated him.
The book is lavishly illustrated throughout with numerous b/w photographic reproductions as well as seven large folded maps and genealogical charts mounted at rear.
