This Belgian anti-Soviet propaganda portfolio contains twelve full-page b/w illustrations by artist Fernand François, including two highlighted in red.
The text pages feature testimonies against Soviet Russia by thirteen personalities of the period, such as Pope Pie XI, François Coty, Cardinal Faulhaber, Cardinal Mercier, and Belgian diplomat Joseph Douillet, among others.
The drawings (9 7/8 x 13 7/8") emphasize a nation suffering under a tyrannical and godless regime, where the common people, the workers and the paesants are killed if they don't give in to the bolsheviks.
There are also drawings condemning Belgian communists for taking orders from the Kremlin. All the illustrations are signed in the plate, including one dated 1932.
One of 1500 copies, of which this is No. 1317.
