Originally published in installments in 1808, "Irish Melodies" is Thomas Moore's masterpiece. It contains 130 of his poems set to music composed or arranged by both Moore and Sir John Stevenson.

Includes the following popular song: "The Minstrel Boy", "The Last Rose of Summer", "Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms" and "Oft in the Stilly Night".

Each page of this magnificent edition is splendidly decorated and illustrated by Irish illustrator Daniel Maclise (1806-1870).
