Bibliography and register at rear. Authoritative history of Zionism by the well respected Vienna merchant and manufacturer. Böhm was one of Martin Buber's collaborators while publishing the monthly cultural magazine "Der Jude" from 1916–1924. He resisted Adolf Eichmann's continuous efforts to generate a list of the most influential and wealthy Jews. Due to his poor health Böhm was first transferred to various sanatoriums and eventually to the extermination camp Hartheim where he was murdered in March of 1941.
