Joachim Ringelnatz (pen name for the painter Hans Bötticher) was known and popular for his wry poems, his word play and nonsense poetry. Compared to Christian Morgenstern Ringelnatz was more satyrical and subversive at times. Kinder=Verwirr=Buch means as much as Baffle-Children-Book and does exactly that with its witty and at times absurd juxtaposing of facts. Illustrated with skillful drawings by the author throughout. Text in German, Gothic script. Binding with wear along edges and spine. Bottom half of spine missing and boards lightly age toned. Front free endpaper missing. Block slightly age toned.
