One of the early books by Wilhelm Busch published first in 1865. Written in rhymed couplets with enticing color illustration by Wilhelm Busch, this is a black humor tale about the pranks of Max and Moritz, here first published in Latin. Busch's story had tremendous impact on the German culture. It is usually one of the first stories being read to still illiterate children by their parents. Text in German.
