This is a collection of the entire year 1959 (Year 10), from the periodical, consisting of 7 original separate softcover volumes bound together in one hardcover library binding. Also included are two additional mimeographed bulletins from 1958, printed in typeface from from the The Federation of Jewish Communities in Yugoslavia. The first is in English, 15pp (8 double sided leaves) from Aug-Sept, and acts as a summary of the contents of the corresponding "Jevrejski Pregled" issue. The second, from October 1958, is one page in Serbo-Croatian, discussing the attempt to save a Jewish cemetery in Sarajevo.

The publication was the eminent Jewish periodical of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1950-1990, published usually on a bimonlthy basis. Topics covered were related to the Jewish community and Jewish issues, locally and abroad. Illustrated with b&w contemporary, and historic photographs. Each issue was published with a multipage insert with separate pagination, that served as an English language summary of the content of that issue, titled "The Jewish Review". Text in Serbo-Croatian with English inserts. All bound issues contain the corresponding "Jewish Review", English language insert. Bullentins folded. Binding with a pen mark to the upper right side of the front cover and upper left of the back cover. Interior with age toning to pages. Library stamps at some title pages. Binding in overall very good, interior in good+ to very good- condition. g+ to vg-. Item #41100
