Heavy rubbing along edges of binding. 4 1/2" closed tear along lower front joint. Closed tears with minor chipping along fore-edge of front free endpaper. Clear water-staining along fore-edge of very first pages (not affecting images or text). Verso of plate 27 partly taped. Minor to moderate foxing / age-toning throughout.
