This fourth special issue of the German architecture magazine "Berliner Architekturwelt" is entirely dedicated to the work of Alfred Grenander (1863-1931), a prominent German architect during the building period of the Berlin U-Bahn in the first decades of the 20th century, and one of the most important architects of the Jugendstill (Art Nouveau) in Germany.

The magazine is lavishly illustrated with numerous in-text and full-page b/w illustrations and photographic reproductions showing some of Alfred Grenander's best examples of Jugendstill architecture, and furniture design such as:

- The Potsdamer Platz U-Bahn station.
- The entrance of the Charlottenburg U-Bahn station.
- The kitchen entrance of Herrn Kommerzienrat Kantorowicz, in Posen.
- Lighting, furniture, fireplace, fireplace screen, and staircase at the Kantorowicz villa, in Posen.

Includes the following hors-text plates:

- A tissue-guarded color plate depicting his famous drawing-room furniture exposed at the 1904 St. Louis World Fair.
- A tissue-guarded color plate showing an interior view of the Kantorowicz villa in Posen.
- A tissue-guarded color plate showing an interior view of a pub room.
