Original white wraps with black School Union emblem, border and lettering on cover, protected by modern mylar. The meeting was called to order by Dr. S. Hecht, Milwaukee, and upon motion, Rabbi Joseph Stolz, Chicago, was appointed Secretary. The additional forty-one gentlemen present at the meeting are listed on the first page. The pamphlet contains a report of the President of the Executive Committee of the Hebrew Sabbath-School Union, a report of the second day session, the Union Constitution and the By-laws. The foldout at rear is a Statistical Report of 114 American Hebrew Sabbath-Schools listing the state they are in, the name of the school, the name of the attached congregation, the superintendent or principal, the presidents of the School Boards, the secretary, the number of children attending, the average attendance, the number of classes, the teachers, paid and volunteers, the weekly hours of instruction, the subjects taught, and the textbooks used. The back cover contains a list of names of the Executive Committee. Cover rubbed with vertical fold and penciled word at top edge, a two inch closed tear at foldout.
