Catalog of an exhibition held at the Museum of Finnish Architecture, and the Alvar Aalto Museum from the collection of the National Museum of Technology, Prague.
The city of Brno holds a crucial place in Czechoslovakian avant-garde architecture, and in the 1920s and 1930s became an architectural metropolis, linked with the pioneering works of Bohuslav Fuchs and the works of the Functionalist school. This catalogue sheds light on the conditions that made this architectural golden age possible, and illuminates the work of some less well-known, but worthy figures in modern architecture in addition to Mies van der Rohe.
Text in Finnish and English. Wrappers and interior in very good condition. vg. Item #40372
