Modern half brown cloth over paper covered boards, with title labels laid on spines and front covers. An exhaustive 4-part catalogue published between 1874 and 1916, and referencing the entire collection of ancient Greek inscriptions preserved in the British Museum. Each volume is complete, and contains a number of plates (three for vol. 1, three for vol. 2, a large folded plate (diagram) for volume 3). Volume 4 is profusely illustrated throughout with numerous in-text b/w photographic reproductions.
Ex-library copy, with stickers at tail of spines and upper front boards, bookplate on inside of each front cover, and pocket on inside of each back boards. Moderate and sporadic rubbing along edges.
