Beautifully illustrated with with decorative, mostly floral vignettes and 200 two color gravures of Montreux and surroundings after photographs by Louis Blanc, Alfred Bruand, Fransioli and H. Schardt. Translated from the French by Albert Preuss. Following the decorative silk endpapers are 30 pages from another work, professionally bound in, featuring Swiss and Italian cities and accommodations with illustrations. Laid in botanical lithograph, 10 x 6 1/4 inches. Text in German. DJ heavily damaged but protected with brodart. Some chipping at tail of spine, other wise very light wear along edges. Leatherette shows usage at top and bottom of covers. Some offsetting of print opposite inside back cover. DJ in poor, binding in overall good+, interior in very good condition. poor to vg.
