"A skin of tears" (Nad shel Dema'ot) gives lectures, sermons, insights and advice on what one should and should not cry. Special awareness is given to mourners, biblical relations, e.g. King Shaul and Rachel crying over her children, the destruction od the Temple and the loss of Jerusalem. One of the insights Rabbi Reines shares is, that one who does not mourn and cries is not able to experience joy and laughter. Text in Hebrew (partially in Rashi script). Binding with wear along edges and minor scuffing, bumped corners. Library stamp and a little inked note inside foxed front cover. Starting at front cover. End paper detached at head. Some soiling at endpaper and title page, but text is unaffected. Block age-toned. Sporadic foxing at last page, foxing and miold soiling at rear endpaper and inside rear cover.
