Three publications by the Federal Office for Political Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung): "Holocaust," originally published by the state of Nordrhein Wesfalen on the occasion of airing the American TV Series "Holocaust" on German Television. The booklet was produced in a large volume to enable teachers across the state to hold informed discussions on National Socialism and the prosecution of Jews under National Socialism. The second booklet is entitled "Der Nationalsozialismus" with photo illustrated three color cover. It is structured into three chapters and gives and overview of the early history of the National Socialist Party from 1919-1933, the history of the party from 1933-1939 and during the war from 1939-1945. Illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs and diagrams throughout. The third, eight page booklet describes the pogrom of November 1938, the Kristallnacht, its cause, dimension and consequences and reprints official reports, laws and documents to elucidate the true course and the magnitude of this event and the way it was set up by the National Socialists. Text in German. Portfolio with some wear along edges, small tears and sunned. Pogrom booklet with heavy foxing on front cover and along foredge of back cover.
