Illustrated with numerous b/w photographic reproductions, floor-plans, and charts, this remarkable volume explores these developments throughout the following buildings of the period: Lichtburg (Berlin), Titania-Palast (Berlin), Capitol (Breslau), Capitol (Mannheim), Beba-Palast (Berlin), Loew's Theatre (Louisville), Paramount (Palm Beach), Ziegfeld (New York), Korzo filmszinház (Budapest), and Uj-Buda (Budapest). Includes chapters on how to furnish and equip movie theaters, as well as fire protection. Dust-jacket designed by Hungarian graphic artist Róbert Byssz, mostly known for his newspapers illustrations and cartoons.
