Pamphlet published in 1949 by the Spanish Diplomatic Information Bureau as a response to the 'Jewish attack against Spain at the U. N. O.', refering to a speech delivered on May 16, 1949 by Abba Eban, leader of the Israeli delegation to the United Nations. Speaking in front of the Assembly gathered on the occasion of a resolution calling for the recognition of Spain, Eban stated that although "the Spanish regime had no direct part in that [German] policy of extermination, it was however an active and sympathetic ally of the regime which was so responsible.." and therefore his country would vote against the draft resolution*. This book is divided into three chapters:

- I.: The Jewish Attack Against Spain

- II.: Spain Protected the Jews During the War

- III.: Permanent Spanish Protection in Times of Peace

* Spain was kept out of the United Nations until 1955, when in the midst of the Cold War it became important for the USA to develop a military presence on the Iberian peninsula, in order to protect southern Europe.
