Allegorical vignette on title page. Compilation of the 323 acts passed between January 13, and April 26, 1831 by the 54th session of the New York legislature. Act #112 (p.154) pertains to the "incorporation of the Society for the Education of Poor Children, and Relief of Indigent Persons of the Jewish Persuasion in the City of New York." Includes a list of the concurrent resolutions of the Senate and Assembly of the State of New York, and an Index at rear. Closed tears with minor abrasion to joints. Some rubbing and soiling on spine and covers. Previous owner's name and stamp on inside of front cover and front free endpaper (David M. Westcott, Supervisor's Clerk - Property of County of Orange Office of County Legislature). Inner margin of very first pages partly damp-stained (not affecting text).
