Published by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the XVIIIth Olympic Games held in Tokyo in 1964, this series of 6 postcards depicts the following views:
- 1) Japan's National Stadium, principal site for the Tokyo Olympic Games
- 2) Imperial Palace Plaza in Tokyo, the capital of Japan
- 3) Poem card game, a New Year's tradition in Japan
- 4) Golden Pavilion of the Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto, Japan
- 5) Snow-clad Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest mountain, and Lake Kawaguchi
- 6) Kegon Waterfall in Nikko National Park, Japan
Each postcard measures 4 x 5 1/2".
