Collection of four books of poetry, one novel, one essay, and a speech on the occasion of the commemoration for the liberal politician and Protestant parish pastor Friedrich Nauman by the Thuringia aristocrat Erika von Watzdorf-Bachoff; various handwritten letters and notes by author, and ephemera. All publications include elaborate dedications to Anneliese Kohnstamm, daughter of the psychiatrist Oskar Kohnstamm, known for his sanatorium for intellectuals in Königstein/Taunus, one dedication to Oskar Kohnstamm. Erika von Watzdorf-Bachoff was afforded a humanist education in the Altenburg Marienstift, established herself as a poet and artist, was a member of the German feminist movement in the early 20th century, and an ardent advocate of the German rebuilding process after W.W.II. The collection contains the following titles and ephemera: 1. Zwischen Frühling und Herbst, poetry, 1912, 2. Maria und Yvonne, novel, 1913, 3. Das Jahr und Neue Gedichte, poetry, 1913 (laid in 7 handwritten letters and one poem, newspaper clippings and one newspaper insert published by the author), 4. Friedrich Naumann zum Gedächtnis, poem, 1919, 5. Weimars Park, lyrical thoughts and promenades, 1925, (Laid in 6 handwritten notes and poetry, typed letter to O. Kohnstamm, clippings of authors publications in newspapers, floor plan, general newspaper clippings), 6. Nachklang, poetry, 1927, (laid in 2 handwritten letters and 5 postcards, one postmarked), 7. Das kristallne Tor, poetry, 1928. Next to the seven publications the collection contains 11 handwritten letters, 5 handwritten postcards, 5 brief handwritten notes, two handwritten and one typed poem, one hand drawn floor plan, and various newspaper clipping with articles on her work or written by her, and a few of Watzdorf's printed poems. All publications but the commemorative poem, quarto, are in octavo format in cloth, one leather binding, and one paper-covered boards. Text in German.
