One of 120 copies printed on Japan Imperial paper. 12 3/4 x 13 1/2" black paper-covered portfolio with pasted-down color illustration, green paper folding flaps. Metallic gold tassel with matching loop closure on fore-edge. Inside of front board with b/w reproduction of a drawing by Robert Bonfils surrounded by green floral decorations. Color illustrated title-page. Three text pages, including colophon with initials in black pen of, and by Rene Chalput. Eleven pages total, incl. title-page. Seven full-page pochoir illustrations in stunning colors by Bonfils of amusements for bored princesses: riding, lovemaking, nude bathing, music, perfume, sleigh-riding. Pochoirs measure 9 1/2" x 10 3/4". Age wear, scuffing and some staining on boards. Text in French. Portfolio in good+, plates in very good condition.
