Frontispiece portrait photograph with facsimile signature and note; tissue guard. Post human publication of collected writings by Adolph Huebsch with an introduction by his wife Julie Huebsch. Includes a biographical chapter written by Isaac M. Wise, poetic writings by Huebsch entitled "Frame of Thought of the Jewish Orient (Gedankenkreis des Jüdischen Orients)", annotations to his poetry, speeches and sermons from 1866 to 1884 starting with "The Three Foundation Pillars (die drei Grundpfeiler)" from November 1866, and finally, obsequies and tributes to his memory. His speeches and homilies, obsequies and tributes are alternately in German and English with occasional Hebrew text though not translations. The Memorial closed with the inscription on his monument in Hebrew. Text in German, English and Hebrew. Binding with light wear along edges and lightly rubbed. Penciled number on free front endpaper, penciled name erased. Light age-toning of block in margins. Bind and interior in overall very good condition. vg. Item #36889
