You're not really initiated until your eyes are redder than your lips [ONE PICTURE BOOK SERIES -- SIGNED]

Tucson: Nazraeli Press, 2002. Limited Edition. Hardcover. 251/500 Signed. Small Octavo. Unpaginated. Original pink paper-covered boards with white lettering on cover and spine. Gray endpapers. The 15th title in the "One Picture Book" Series by Nazraeli Press consisting of one letter of correspondence, seven reproductions, and one tipped-in, original photograph. "While Don Kirby was working on his Wheat Country images, he photographed a now-deserted schoolhouse and became fascinated by the generations of graffiti scrawled upon its walls. As is so often the case, some of the most meaningful comments on life are found in places where they are not expected. Kirby's black-and-white photographs immortalize pearls of profundity that would more usually inspire removal than recording: The book's title, for example, or the equally delicious 'There have been no dragons in my life, only spiders and girls. I could have coped with dragons'" (From the publisher). Binding and interior in fine condition. Fine. Item #36398
