The charm of the various fables is greatly heightened by the numerous in-text and full-page illustrations engraved from the designs of Grandville. Age wear on binding with spine and edges heavily rubbed, with abrasion to leather. Title, and presentation page creased at upper corner. Moderate age toning along paper margin.
