Each part in original color-illustrated wraps, all resting in single blue cloth portfolio with illustrated paste-down and string ties. Each part in itself complete, illustrated with 10 pochoir plates and 8 pages of text. Portfolio split and frayed along joints. Some staining on rear board. Tearing and chipping to spine and edges of wrappers on two parts. Small library stamp on bottom margin of each leaf. Each front wrapper with small handwritten number in red crayon. Country captions on upper right corner of each plate underlined in red crayon. Portfolio in fair, interior in overall very good condition. Important illustrative documentation on the history of feminine costumes with 200 pochoir plates in rich, vibrant colors. Item #30742
