Profusely illustrated with full-page and some in-text reproduction in photogravure of work by Czech photographer, Jaromir Funke (1896-1945). Funke was a leading figure in Czech avant garde photography in the 1920's and 1930's. Josef Sudek, Adolf Schneeberger, and Funke founded the Czech Photographic Society.
