Supplemental reform prayer book designed for services on Sunday, instead of the traditional Jewish Saturday Sabbath, and for those not able to pray in Hebrew. A choir figures prominently. Top edges bumped, affecting interior leaves. Head of spine bumped and frayed; tail of spine bumped. Remains of a library sticker. Bookplate and label from previous owner. R. Joseph Krauskopf was a nineteenth century German American Reform rabbi, who helped write the Pittsburgh platform in 1885. He was a member of the first class at Hebrew Union College under R. Isaac M. Wise. Krauskopf later served as rabbi of B'nai Jehudah Congregation of Kansas City, Missouri and Keneseth Israel in Philadelphia.
