Die Elegie bei Paul Celan [SIGNED & WITH NOTE BY AUTHOR]

Bern: Francke Verlag, (1969). First edition. Softcover. Octavo. 89,[1]pp. Tan wraps in original printed dust wrapper. Inscribed by Weissenberger on half-title page: "Mit den besten Wünschen, Klaus Weissenberger im Frühling 1970." Includes laid-in handwritten note by author to University of Southern California (on USC's letterhead). Weissenberger graduated with a PhD at USC in 1967. Many of his books concentrate on non-fictional prose works written by modern German authors, mainly during their exile from Nazi Germany. Sunning, staining and some scuffing on wraps. Dust wrapper in good+, interior in near fine condition. Interesting work on the elegy in Paul Celan's works. vg. Item #29089
