Blue ribbon marker in each volume. Scarce and pictorial work on Jewish religious art and monuments profusely illustrated with 218 b/w photographic reproductions of synagogues (interior and exterior), and various Jewish cult artworks. This work would be complete if it didn't lack the latter 1909 volume (V.-VI) on Hebrew typography. Some age-wear on bindings with slight soiling on covers and rubbing along edges. Lower front corner of volume III/IV. bumped, thus slightly affecting pages throughout. Text in German. Bindings in overall good-, interior in very good condition. g. Item #28075
