Vlymen of Dutch historian Prof. Dr. Hajo Brugmans (1868-1939). Published to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Brugmans post as Professor of History at the Amsterdam University. Brugmans was also the author of "Inter Alia", a standard work on the history of Amsterdam, as well as co-editor of the encyclopedia of classic modern Dutch "Personalities in the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Words and Pictures." Text in Dutch. Age wear, some staining and scuffing on binding. Backstrip peeling from spine but complete. Slight age toning to outer edges of interior pages.
