Scarce, profusely illustrated early 20th century English children's book accompanied by humorous rhymes. Includes three comic tales, telling the stories of unlucky hunters and fishermen: Three Jolly Huntsmen, The Little Man and his Gun, Three Jolly Fishermen. Illustrated with colorful reproductions of drawings by Frank Adams. The artist was a popular children's book illustrator of the period who was also well-known for his landscape art and watercolor paintings. Some age wear and staining on binding. Small area on back board with surface puncture. Gutters along front and rear endpapers expertly reinforced with thin Japan tissue. Foxing on endpapers.
