Past Trials & Present Tribulations. A Muslim Fundamentalist's View of the Jews. [SIGNED BY MOSHE LAZAR]
Oxford: Pergamon Press, 1987. First edition. Hardcover. Quarto. XI, [1], 92pp. Original decorative paper covered boards, with red, white and black lettering on covers. Moshe Lazar's signature on free front endpaper. Fascinating work being a commentary on and translation of the essay "Our Struggle With the Jews", by Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966), the great Egyptian Muslim fundamentalist writer and activist. Qutb's essay is a rounded and concentrated expression of his thought on the Jews which, in most scattered form, may be found elsewhere in his voluminous writings. Spine slightly sunned and lower corners bumped. Minor and sporadic pen underlinings. Binding in overall good, interior in very good condition. g. Item #25222
