Festschrift of the 1st German Workers' Gymnastics and Sports Festival held in Leipzig in 1922. Includes 32 page photographic section "Das war unser Fest!", documenting the event in pictures. Illustrated throughout with photographic reproductions in duo tone showing physical exercises, various sports competitions, landscapes and some architecture. Lacking front wrapper of No. 1 & 2. Front board slightly bowed. Some age wear and abrasions on boards. Tail of spine slightly bumped. Inscription by previous owner in pencil on free front endpaper. Reinforced with white binders tape along gutter at front and rear endpaper. Text in German, gothic script. Overall very good condition. vg. Item #24677
