Propaganda publication supporting the transformation of the traditional "Erntedankfest" (harvest festival of thanks), primarily a rural and a religious celebration in Germany, into an official celebration of the German peasantry. 700.000 participants (peasant organizations, SA and SS) congregated on the Bückeberg, near the medieval town of Hameln for NSDAP speeches and entertainment. Several photographs show regional festivities in German cities and lands. Edges and corners somewhat scuffed. Minor foxing on title page and last page. Interior in good condition. Text in German.
