Rare Sowjet propaganda work defending accusations by democratic countries of the supposedly inhumane and slavery like condition of workers in Russia. The book looks at Stalin's Five-Year Plan and the efficiency and superiority of the Russian worker and workforce of the early 1930's. The Five-Year Plan was a list of economic goals designed to strengthen Russia's economy, making the nation both militarily and industrially self-sufficient, however, Stalin's plan of collective farming led to a famine that killed millions of people. In two parts: 1) Der neue Arbeiter in der Sowjetunion. 2) Zwangsarbeit bei der Holzbeschaffung. Illustrated with 8 captioned full-page b/w reproductions of photographs.
