Unique amateur photo album compiling 1color and 63 original b/w photographs and photographic reproductions of Jackie Coogan, the cinematographic star of the 1920's.
The photographs include three large silver gelatin cut-outs, and two albumen prints, including one with a blind stamp of photographer P. (Pepa) Feldscharek.
This album contains no less than 57 photo post-cards from Transocean Films Co., Verlag "Ross"; British-American Films A.G. (BAFAG); Metro Goldwyn Mayer; and Paramount.
Most of the photographs depicts the young actor in movie scenes, with some of his most famous screen partners, such as Charles Chaplin, Edna Purviance and others..
A section of this album contains some photographs of Coogan's triumphant visit to Berlin in 1924. One loose photo postcard shows the young actor seated next to Maurice Chevalier. 5 photographs are pasted, all the others are corner-mounted. One photograph is inscribed and signed by Jackie Coogan.
