The work on the Spider and the Flie was begun in 1529 and was not finished until 1556. Scuffing, staining and some chipping on wraps. Top and bottom corners bumped and creased, affecting pages throughout. Head and tail of spine chipped. Small piece on bottom right corner of front cover missing. Some handwriting in pencil on title-page. Text in German. Wraps in fair, interior in overall good condition. g. Item #23875
