This is an 18th century Venetian edition of a Book of the Hours, detailing Catholic liturgical rites enacted by popes Clement VIII and Urban VIII. Text in Latin, with a preface by Urban VIII. Printed with black and red ink with two b/w copper plate engravings initialed "BF." Small close tear at top spine edge, badly abraded. Title on spine faded. Rubbing and scuffing to boards and page edges. Overall tight copy, interior in very good condition. g. Item #22264
