The book is the first part of a 2-volume set, giving an exhaustive scholarly account of the archeological findings at Beth She'arim. Heavily annotated and illustrated with maps, diagrams, and charts, as well as 36 full-page b&w photographic reproductions attached at the end of the volume. Creasing, rubbing, and several closed tears along the top of DJ, Small closed tear and creasing at the bottom of the front endpaper, minor staining along page edges.
