This study is profusely illustrated with 13 steel engravings (including frontispiece) by Bartlett, each one being protected with a tissue-guard. Some age-wear on binding with rubbing along edges and soiling on spine and covers. Lower part of endpapers at rear damp-stained, slightly affecting the very last pages.
